The VW Safari tour to Kerta Gosa, Besakih Temple, and Tenganan Village was a cracking day out. Cruising around in that classic VW made the journey even more fun, and seeing the temples and villages really gave me a feel for Bali's true culture. It was such a laid back experience, and I loved soaking in all the stunning views and history along the way.

Overview

Enjoy amazing and different tour trip from the usual one. Because this time we will take you to the beautiful countryside in Bali with VW Safari. Continue up in the mountains, then it's on Besakih Temple, almost 1000m above sea level. Besakih is the mother temple of Bali and probably originated as a prehistoric sanctuary where offerings were made to the God of Mount Agung.

Next visit to traditional village of Tenganan - one of the original Bali "aga" villages where traditions have changed very little over centuries. Drive through the beach resort of Candidasa, to enjoy the beach and black sandy beach.
